The Luena Regional Military Hospital, under a turn-key contract including design, construction, equipment, training, and 4 years of support, is set to open in 2026. Built on 11,450 m², it addresses the healthcare needs of Angola’s eastern region. It features an advanced diagnostic hub with CT, digital X-ray with fluoroscopy, high-resolution ultrasound, and in-house lab services, enabling accurate, rapid diagnoses. With 102 beds, the hospital includes emergency and specialized wards to provide timely care. Located in remote Moxico province, it minimizes long-distance travel for treatment. Training programs and co-management strategies ensure sustainable performance. This facility marks a major step forward in healthcare access for Angola’s eastern frontier.
