The Hospital San Francisco was built in 1990, using already existing radiology equipment, dating back to 1980’s.
VAMED designed, constructed and equipped a new radiology department and delivered additional equipment for the critical care area of the hospital.
The scope comprised among others of the following equipment: CT (64 slices), X-ray, ultrasound, a mammography unit, anesthesia machines, ventilators, incubators and an UPS to secure uninterrupted power supply. This was a big improvement for the patients in this area, who had to travel to Tegucigalpa, for their examinations.
