The Guyana Pediatric and Maternal Hospital (GPMH) is a landmark project under an MoU between the Governments of Austria and Guyana, part of a wider effort to modernize Guyana’s public healthcare. Addressing historic gaps in funding and access to specialized care, GPMH serves both Georgetown and remote hinterland communities. This state-of-the-art facility provides comprehensive services across specialized departments, including Accident & Emergency, Outpatients, Surgery, ICU, Obstetrics, Imaging, Radiology, Endoscopy, Dialysis, Chemotherapy, Lab Services, and a Mortuary. GPMH is a critical step toward equitable, high-quality care for women and children in Guyana.
