This project aims to create a nationwide cancer detection network in Mongolia, with a Center of Excellence in Ulaanbaatar and satellite hospitals in rural areas. It strengthens diagnostics at all sites and uses custom cancer detection and registration software to track outcomes. The project includes IT systems, medical equipment for the center, and screening tools for satellite centers. Most funding goes to high-tech diagnostics at the main center, building on prior support, including a LINAC for tumor treatment. The system enables early cancer identification, efficient patient referrals, and better information sharing across facilities to reduce long-term health impacts.
