Boram General Hospital in Wewak, East Sepik Province, serves a catchment area of 500,000 people across multiple provinces in Papua New Guinea. Currently a Level 4 District Hospital, it is being upgraded to a Level 5 Provincial Hospital to offer advanced clinical services. VAMED, as main contractor, was tasked with raising the hospital’s service quality and cost-effectiveness. The turn-key project includes design, construction, installation of medical and mechanical equipment, and advanced training and maintenance. Key upgrades focus on diagnostic, outpatient, and patient treatment services, enhancing care delivery across the region.
