The Sungai Buloh General Hospital, located near Kuala Lumpur, was developed to meet rising healthcare demands and ease patient loads in the capital. VAMED was responsible for the architectural and functional planning of the hospital and the allied health sciences college, overall project management, and the supply, installation, training, and maintenance of medical equipment for two years. The facility also includes staff and student accommodations, sports and utility infrastructure. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it served as Malaysia’s main treatment center, playing a crucial national role.
