The New Sangre Grande Hospital is a flagship healthcare project in eastern Trinidad, part of a national initiative to modernize public health services. It marks VAMED’s third hospital project in Trinidad and Tobago, following Point Fortin and San Fernando Teaching Hospitals. Delivered as a full turn-key project, VAMED was responsible for planning, design, construction, equipment supply, commissioning, staff training, and maintenance. The hospital includes outpatient care, diagnostics, lab, pharmacy, imaging (CT, MRI, fluoroscopy), central sterile services, and surgery with 4 operating theatres (including one for endoscopy), as well as rehabilitation services—offering comprehensive, modern care.
